eagle4: danhacker: Avengers Tug of War by Paul Ryan from Marvel Swimsuit 1991 There is so much wrong happening in this picture. Why did Marvel even ever publish Swinsuit Issues? Why is every hero sporting a speedo? Iron Man is wearing bermuda shorts over his armor suit, what !?! Thor brought his hammer to the Avengers beach day function, why? Why would he do such a thing. I find it extraordinarily creepy that so many of the Avengers are wearing their masks to the beach. Tigra’s one-piece bathing suit actually covers more than her bikini superhero costume. I guess she gets a little self conscious when the Avengers hit the sand. I really could go on-and-on, but I think this picture speaks volumes about 90’s Marvel comics. Being an Avengers fan, this is just embarrassing.
